The textile eyeglass … a fabric … a timeless emotion
For fall winter 2024 we would like to “let you in” on our fabrics, thanks to the textile eyeglass: a technical tool with a huge meaning. It is something personal, an irreplaceable partner, the emblem that defines the Weaver.
The textile eyeglass is a real lens that allows one to magnify the fabric in order to count the threads in warp and weft to the centimeter, discovering its construction as it was a small microscope. The Weaver thanks to the Lens sees precious details, his mind knows new weaves, and his heart discovers ever-changing emotions. It is a symbol of craftsmanship and savoir-faire…skilful hands run over the fabric and attentive eyes watch quality yarns uncovering their secrets.
So, for fall winter 2024 we want you to enter the fabric through the front door, as if you were weavers, looking at the fabric with our eyes! Using the textile eyeglass you can discover the constructions, observe the fibers, dive into the details of the weavings…it is like the photographer zoom: able to capture the smallest perfections and immortalize even the finest and most precious detail.

A range of items, graphics and variations aimed at using only the best raw materials to achieve high quality standards. This is also in order to achieve our sustainable goals, weaving products that can last over time, avoiding waste and consumption that fast fashion imposes on our Planet.
We wish you then not to stop to a first impression, not to judge for example white popelines as all the same, but to dive into our world, going deep into the fabric, but also into our work.
Canclini1925 offers a winter collection with a formal part such as Skin, King and Dandy, or more relaxed and casual like Aberdeen.
This season we want to highlight all those high-performance fabrics, that’s why We have introduced in the Techno section two fabrics with XLA yarn, basically elastane technically perfect for an easy care finishing using no chemicals. Do not miss as usual our art. Performante, as well as the Traveller and art. flan with a natural stretch. Or the Super Pop, very dense woven, and the NYON GRS using a recycled polyamide.
The WEEKENDER collection shows Melton and Mc Kenzie, with its solids and checks, as well as new items such as Dampezzo, Soka Barrè, and Fustagnino.
All collections also present the possibility of OCS certification on hangers and cards displaying the OCS ON DEMAND label, in order to produce more and more sustainable fabrics even on individual customer request.
PER LEI offers a range of very up-to-date and appealing handfeels, finishings and blends. This season we’ll have a whole capsule developed in 100% Silk, which is the most typical fiber grown in the Como Area where we’re actually based.
GRANDI & RUBINELLI is instead proposing all those more formal fabrics, with two plies yarns ranging from 70/2 to 100/2, passing from 140/2 up to 200/2, including cotton/silk, cotton/wool, cotton/cashmere, cotton/cashmere/silk blends, covering all that richer part about fibers and structures.
BLUE1925 reconfirms indigo qualities with different weights and structures. We introduced new items such as art. Quincy Soft, with a more broken and softer handfeel, a range of structured solids like art. Hood and wool fabrics as art. REWOOLUTION, a blend of recycled cotton wool and polyester, art. Barolo, a wool nylon finished with the typical Biella handfeel.
We developed more structered look fabrics as art. RAY, a seersucker, or DOUDLEY woven with mouliné yarn.
For those who are looking for sustainability we have art. Roundtrip, which has achieved GRS certification thanks to its recycled yarn.
Last but not least, a selection of technical bonded items such as Double Per and Double Mix, more workable for suiting and outerwear.
